Welcome to the all new SteveBarnes.net from Barnesology headquarters in Atlanta. I suck at blogging (among other things!) and have been bad about keeping up with my website. On this new site, I hope to use this News Blog as a bulletin board to drop random thoughts on everything from technology to Hollywood.There will be no scheduled pieces here, just whenever they happen. It is a hub for Barnesology and hopefully a way for you to waste some time when you are bored at home or work. Barnes has been cast in a Guest Starring role on The CW’s ONE TREE HILL which shoots next week in Wilmington, NC. Stay tuned for an air date…

Barnes has been cast as “Judge Stoughton” in the drama BACK TO SALEM. BACK TO SALEM is a novel by Alex Marcoux. Synopsis: Modern-day protagonists Jessie, Taylor and Mark work to solve a murder and as they revisit events from the Salem witch trials in 1692, they realize they’re entwined – karmically and romantically.

Barnes was featured in the July/August ALTA Net News magazine in a story about Atlanta tennis players.

The video below was just found in the dusty archives. It was shot with a VERY BAD video camera on June 16, 2001 in Barnes’ basement when The Outfield played a private gig (with Barnes on drums!) for 23 people. The video and sound is NOT great, but Barnes ranks it as “one of the greatest nights ever”. Enjoy!

SEX & CONSEQUENCES, the 2nd Feature from Barnesology Pictures will be released on DVD via Maverick Entertainment on June 19, 2007. SEX & CONSEQUENCES stars Joan Severance, Corbin Bernsen, Rodney Scott, and Charles Van Eman. Look for Barnes featured as the insane “Rev. Jim”.
